Luxor West Bank Half-Day Tour
In the early morning, our representative will pick you up from your Luxor hotel or Nile Cruise. Then you will be transferred to the west bank.
Your West Bank journey begins with a visit to the magnificent Medinet Habu Temple, the impressive mortuary temple of Ramses III and the largest archaeological site on the West Bank after Karnak.
Next, you'll explore the Valley of the Artisans, also known as Deir el-Medina, the ancient village and necropolis of the skilled workers who built and decorated the royal tombs.
Continuing your exploration, you'll arrive at the Ramesseum Temple, situated on Luxor's West Bank. This impressive structure served as the mortuary temple of the powerful Pharaoh Ramses II, whose long reign was marked by the construction of numerous remarkable buildings and architectural achievements.
Finally, you'll visit Carter House, the distinctive domed mud-brick residence where Howard Carter lived during his groundbreaking search for the tomb of Tutankhamun. Nestled amidst a garden on a seemingly barren slope overlooking the road to the Valley of the Kings, the restored house showcases photographs and tools from the excavation. Adjacent to the garden, you'll find an exact replica of Tutankhamun's burial chamber and an exhibition detailing the tomb's discovery.
