Overview
Luxor, known as the “City of Palaces,” is a city in Upper Egypt that includes the site of the ancient Egyptian city of Thebes. It is home to some of the most famous monuments in Egypt, including the Karnak Temple, Luxor Temple, and the Valley of the Kings and Queens. Luxor is often referred to as the “world’s greatest open-air museum” due to its rich historical heritage.
